Aus welchem Land kommen Sie?

Author: Alfredo Thiermann

Alfredo Thiermann's Artifacts are speculative ideas that question the boundary between fiction and reality in architecture. These projects are primarily concerned with evoking images and symbols in the viewer. Since the artifacts cannot be located concretely, something mystical is attached to them that oscillates between autonomous architecture and political statement.

The artifacts illustrate Alfredo Thiermann's essay "The House at the End of the World" in the current issue of  archithese on Chile.
